Next Gen Metals Non-Brokered Private Placement Oversubscribed

March 24, 2011 - Vancouver, Canada. Next Gen Metals Inc. (TSX.V:N) ("Next Gen" or the "Company")
announces that further to the news release dated March 1, 2011 announcing a non-brokered private placement of up to 1,666,666 flow-through units ("FT Units") and up to 4,000,000 non flow-through units ("NFT Units") for gross proceeds of up to $1,500,000, the private placement has been oversubscribed. The private placement has been increased to up to 2,166,667 FT Units and up to 6,200,000 NFT Units for gross proceeds of up to $2,200,000 under the same terms and conditions as set out in the March 1, 2011 press release. The proceeds of this private placement will be used to continue the development of our existing projects, acquire new silver, gold or base metal projects on an international scale and general working capital. A Finder's fees may be payable.

The private placement and finder's fees are subject to regulatory approval.
